til gul ladoo / sesame seeds and jagerry ball: By Bhagyashri Time: 8-10 mins Serves:17-18 walnut size balls/ladoo Shelf-life: 15 days Store in airtight container..... Ingredients: : 1/2 Cup White Sesame Seeds /Til (lightly roasted till it is crisp & golden in colour) 1/2 Cup brown cane sugar called jaggery (grated)(adjust to taste)(Gud/chiralela Gul)*** 1 Tbsp Ghee - Clarified Butter (thode tup) 1&1/2 Tbsp Roasted Peanut (Optional)(thode bhajalele dane) 1 Tbsp Dry Grated Coconut (Optional)(thode kislele khobare) Pinch of Nutmeg Powder (Optional)(jaifal pud) NOTE: 1)you can substitute jaggery with regular cane sugar *** 2) I use Jaggery wherever i can because of its rich iron content. 3)Anything bleached to a white color is evil - white sugar, bleached all purpose flour and white rice.
